International Service Project April 5

Join local AmeriCorps members and a Youth Service Group from Canada for a day of service & fun at the University of Maine Orono. The day will begin with coffee and conversation. You will learn about AmeriCorps and the impact it can have on your life.

Then participate in one of two service projects for the day:
Project 1: Help get the campus ready for spring tree planting. Be ready to rake, trim, and general grounds clean-up. In case of bad weather, we'll be sprucing up some dorms.

Project 2: Help the Peace & Justice Center with a painting project.

Join us for the day and have fun volunteering. Dress appropriately and lunch will be provided.

Where to meet and directions will be available closer to the event.
