History:
Children's Miracle Network is an international non-profit organization dedicated to raising funds for and awareness of children's hospitals. It was co-founded in 1983 by entertainers Marie Osmond and John Schneider. Children's Miracle Network is an organization that actively provides better healthcare for millions of children through its 170 associated hospitals throughout North America. Children's Miracle Network's founding pledge, to keep 100 percent of donations in the area in which they were raised and to put children first in all it does, remains at the core of its philosophy. Each year, hundreds of special events are organized and executed under the Children's Miracle Network umbrella in communities large and small across North America. Of course, the television broadcast remains the largest Children's Miracle Network annual event. Just like past broadcasts, the 2005 Celebration Broadcast featured sports and entertainment personalities and educational, entertaining and informative programming.
