To provide diverse cultural activities, creative outlets, education, and resources for youth, and to unite generations through refined communication and education.

Description:
3rd EyE puts on events that showcase the creative talents and intelligence that youth possess, in order to motivate and inspire other youth and educate adults as to how youth relate and communicate with each other. 3rd EyE also produces a weekly public access television show called Put Out the Word! This broadcast involves a large number of community artists, activists, and citizens and communicates positive, progressive, messages through art. 3rd EyE also collaborates with a variety of other organizations in empowering the community by raising awareness about community issues and organizing youth to create social change. 3rd EyE provides a constant venue for youth to express themselves and a forum for the community.

History:
The 3rd EyE Open-this is an annual Hip Hop Cultural Festival that showcases youth art forms and boasts a large-scale 3 on 3 basketball tournament open to all ages, races, and sexes. This event takes place at Buttonwood Park and has been a huge success in 2000 and 2001.
Put Out the Word! since 1998, 3rd EyE has been producing this multi-faceted vessel of communication. We have spread the program to 9 airing locations around New England and Nationwide and continue to raise awareness about important issues affecting communities everywhere.
