Saint Anne's Hospital is a 135-bed , acute-care hospital with comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services, including 24-hour emergency care. It offers centers of excellence in oncology, pediatrics, pain management, behavioral medicine, and sleep disorders. Saint Anne's is a member of the Caritas Christi Health Care System, the second largest health system in eastern Massachusetts.
History:
Founded in 1906, Saint Anne's Hospital has provided nearly a century of health care to those in southeastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island. From its founding by the Dominican Sisters of the Presentation to the present, Saint Anne's has been a place where the needs of the whole person are valued, and compassion is considered an essential aspect of a patient's recovery. Throughout its history, Saint Anne's has embraced the diversity of its patients and remains committed to reach out to the underserved.
