We are seeking volunteer literacy tutors willing to devote one morning or evening a week assisting adult students in ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages), ABE (Adult Basic Education), or Adult Diploma classes. Volunteers work alongside classroom teachers to help adult learners develop skills in reading, writing, speaking, mathematics, and computer technology. Requirements included a high school diploma and a desire to help others. This opportunity is sponsored by: New Bedford Adult Education
