The Office of Human Services is seeking volunteers to assist with child care during its Shining Lights ESOL Program. Shining Lights is a free program designed for beginner / pre-beginner students of English as a Second Language. The program meets Tuesdays & Thursdays, from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. October through May. No teaching experience necessary; CORI required. Spanish or Portuguese speaking ability would be helpful but is not necessary. Assistants ideally should be interested in early literacy / education and should enjoy working with children. This opportunity is sponsored by: City of New Bedford Office of Human Services
