Volunteer Partners, the internet matching program will be announced at a city wide celebration on April 22, 2002 at noon on the steps of City Hall. Join local corporations, the Chamber of Commerce, UMass Dartmouth, the city of New Bedford along side the United Way and the Inter Church Council in the announcement that the Volunteer Partners program has been brought to the city and is ready to match non profit volunteer "jobs" with people who are seeking volunteer opportunites. Help to celebrate the spirit of volunteerism that will engulf our city. National Volunteer Week begins Sunday April 21st.
