Description:
Give2TheTroops is a nonpartisan, non-political, patriotic organization aimed at supporting our troops deployed and wounded in harm's way. Give2TheTroops has sent 50,000+ care packages to troops stationed in combat zones around the world. The care packages we send are filled with a variety of toiletries, snacks, and entertainment items. We try and meet special requests from the troops so that they know that we care about them. In the past we have sent items for a luau, musical instruments, and even a granita machine! The boxes weigh 65lbs on average and all contents are shared with our Point of Contact's unit...that way everyone gets a little gift from home!

History:
Give2TheTroops was started by Andi Grant in the basement of her Fairfield home when her husband deployed to Iraq in December of 2002. In June of 2004 the name "Give2TheTroops" was selected for our organization and we became incorporated in the State of Connecticut. Give2TheTroops is now a nationwide organization with branches throughout the United States.
