Alexis Hill Montessori School
Our mission is to provide a safe environment that supports children as they strive to attain their full educational, recreational, and social potential; while encouraging creativity. The Alexis Hill Montessori School (AHMS)proposes to establish a quality childcare facility for children 6 weeks to 3 years old and continuous corresponding classes for parents that will focus on the children’s developmental stages for that particular age group. To achieve this goal, an environment is being created for children that is based on the principles of Maria Montessori with adults trained specifically in the Montessori Method.

History:
In 2005 Alexis Hill Montessori School, Inc. (AHMS) was founded and incorporated as a non-profit school in the State of Connecticut under the leadership of Executive Director/Founder, Kaye Harvey. AHMS received its federal determination as a tax-exempt 501C3 organization in 2006.
