Volunteer Opportunity Details:

Volunteers are needed to help mark, sort and re-box donated frozen meat products into boxes of like kind for distribution to member agencies. Sometimes we also need help sorting through other perishable food items. Volunteers are needed every Thursday in the East Haven Warehouse for the meat project. All other perishables for sorting would be on an as available basis when shipments arrive.

A 3 month minimum commitment is requested (occasional days off are not an issue). Volunteers must have the ability to be on their feet for an hour or more, ability to bend, and to lift up to 30 pounds.
