Volunteer Opportunity Details:

Volunteers are needed to assist at the Center- to play cards, assist with activities, and serve coffee at lunch. If you have any special talents such as playing an instrument or singing, doing yoga or anything, we need you!

Volunteers are welcome any day Monday through Friday between 8:30am and 3:00pm. They should be enthusiastic, friendly and committed to improving the quality of life for the elderly participants of the center.

Directions:

Go to exit 60 on the Merrit Parkway. Take a right. Drive to Benham St. about 2 blocks(Acropolis Diner is on the corner). Take a right onto Benham St. Go to just before the second traffic light. You will see a turn off on the right. Take that turn off (you will be on the grounds of Sacred Heart Academy). Take your second right off of the driveway. Follow the road until you see a big yellow brick building. Follow the signs and drive around the back of the building and go around the garage. You will see a banner attached to a green glass enclosure. This is the door to come in   Nearest Bus Stop: Benham and Dixwell, 15 min minute walk
