We are seeking volunteers to serve as team captains for Relay for Life events in the Greater New Haven Area. Relay for Life is an event that joins communities in the fight against cancer. It is a way to celebrate cancer survivors, remember loved ones, and fight back against the disease that takes too much from too many. Teams of friends, families, schools, businesses and organizations join together at a local track, taking turns walking. Teams enjoy entertainment, activities and special ceremonies , including a luminaria ceremony, throughout the Relay All interested individuals will receive orientation and lots of materials to help them form a team , and ongoing support through the end of the Relay.
