Each month, JFS distributes more than 3,000 lbs. of supplemental food and 5000 diapers to 170 people residing in New Haven(regardless of religion and ethnicity). We are looking for friendly and responsible volunteers to assist clients at food pantry located in New Haven.(1402 Whalley Ave, New Haven) Job responsibilities include receiving applications, assisting clients, stacking and distributing diapers, and record keeping. Pantry hours are 9-12, Tuesday and Friday. Word processing ability a plus but not necessary.
