CitySeed - More than Food (as if that wasn't enough)

CitySeed is a growing organization with a variety of opportunities for volunteers. Many of our volunteers have helped shape our organization and improved our capacity to engage the community in growing an equitable, local food system that promotes economic development, community development and sustainable agriculture.

Recently, CitySeed was recognized as a 2007 Golden Grocer which honors farmers' markets and grocery stores for outstanding achievement and exemplary service to participants in the USDA's Food Stamp Program.

For the 2007 fall and winter season we are especially looking for volunteers to help at our Wooster Square farmers' market with operations and other related activities. This is a great way to connect to local farmers and the community. Join us now!
