Rosscare is a non-profit, charitable organization, whose mission is to provide or support a continuum of quality and cost-effective, non-acute health and health-related services for the people of eastern and northern Maine.

Description:
Rosscare services include programs to enhance independence and quality of life at home, provide alternative care and living arrangements, and perform assessment, treatment and management of chronic illness. Promotion and coordination of services is accomplished through a network of health information, referral and education. Programs and services provided by Rosscare include nursing homes, The Sylvia Ross Home, Lifeline Help Button, Telecare, the Center for Healthy Aging, a Senior Health Information Line, and Caregiver Support Group.

History:
As a member of the Eastern Maine Healthcare Systems family, Rosscare works cooperatively with other healthcare providers and carries out the charitable purposes of the Sylvia Ross Trust.
