Description:
Maine Veterans' Homes is a not for profit organization created by the people of Maine through the State legislature. A Board of Trustees comprised of wartime veterans governs us. Maine Veterans' Homes operates facilities in Augusta, Bangor, Caribou, Scarborough and South Paris.

History:
Maine Veterans' Homes was established in 1983 as a public, not-for-profit organization created by the people of Maine through the state legislature. The Maine Veterans' Homes are located in beautiful woodland settings throughout the state of Maine serving veterans, their spouses, widows, widowers and gold star parents.
