Mission Statement:
Our mission is to improve the health and welfare of abandoned cats and kittens, reduce overpopulation and abandon rates of unwanted animals, strengthen the bond between humans and companion animals and promote collaboration within the communities in an effort to reach our goals.

Description:
Precious Paws Rescue operates a No Kill Cage Free Shelter overseen by an all volunteer dedicated group. The org.does not receive state, local or government funding but instead depends on donations to continue their work.
The shelter program includes wellness care for the animals within a stress free environment. This method of sheltering creates a pleaant experience for visitors and volunteers.
After initial isolation, the animals are acclimated into community settings where they are able to run, play, interact with one another or rest comfortably by a sunny window without the confinment of cages.
Once the animals enter our care, the shelter becomes their sancturary should they become unadoptable. Cats are never euthanized unless they are suffering or have serious disease that would jeopardize the life of other animals.
Ongoing programs include:
Adoption counseling with follow up support
Senior Adoption Program (adoption fee waiver)
Spay/Neuter Assistance (funding help)
Collaboration with other agencies for volunteer opportunities and recruitment activities to strength the organization
Feral Feeding Program (provides food to feed strays for low income caregivers)
Cyber Connections (Connecting People with Pets via our updated website at www.mypreciouspaws.org)
