Volunteer Opportunity Details:
It may be winter but we are starting to plan for Cow Island's organic vegetable garden. The produce from the garden goes to the meals for our youth programming. It is also an educational garden that school and youth groups engage with. Our Cow Island Conservation Corps also maintains the garden. Volunteers must have space indoors to grow seedlings- preferably a greenhouse, heat lamps, or a warm and sunny location for them. We will provide seeds, soil, containers, etc. Some gardening experience would be helpful though not necessary. This opportunity is sponsored by: Rippleffect
