Volunteer Opportunity Details:

Every year the Plymouth Area Coalition for the Homeless provides homeless and low-income families with Holiday gifts and meals. There are a few ways to take advantage of this opportunity including packaging boxes of food to be distributed, packaging toys, clothing and gifts to be distributed or "adopting" a family. When you "adopt" a family, you are provided with a wish list for the children that includes their gender, age, clothing and shoe sizes as well as a few of their interests. You may choose the number of children in the family as well as their ages and gender. Donors then shop for the items and return them unwrapped to be bagged by volunteers. Lastly, due to the hectic nature of the season, volunteers can always be utilized for shopping for extra items and assisting donors, just to give a few examples.

There is a brief training that can be completed on the first day of volunteering. We accept all types of volunteers from large groups to families to individuals.
