Volunteer Opportunity Details:

Volunteers need to provide information on courthouse locations, functions, services and forms. Direct/guide visitors to appropriate court: District, Housing, Juvenile, Probate and Family Courts.

Navigating the judicial process conducted by the Courts can be stressful, intimidating and overwhelming. When people don't know where to go or how to get there, they ask the first person they meet inside: Security Staff at the Courthouse, distracting them from their focus on Security Screening.

Volunteers are oriented and supervised by Court Supervisor.

Volunteers may severe a two hour shift (8:30-10:30a.m.) any weekday from two to eight times per month.

Understanding of court system/process.
Bi-lingual skills very helpful.
