Horizons for Homeless Children is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing programs and services for homeless children throughout Massachusetts. Horizons for Homeless Children's Southeast Region continues to recruit new volunteers to work with homeless children living in domestic violence and family homeless shelters in Barnstable, Bristol, and Plymouth Counties. We work with shelters in and around your neighborhood and are eager to connect with people within the community you serve. Horizons for Homeless Children is looking for energetic and enthusiastic volunteers to play with children living in family homeless shelters in Barnstable, Bristol, and Plymouth Counties. If you have an extra 2 hours a week and a desire to make a difference in the lives of some wonderful children, then we have the volunteer opportunity for you! A six month commitment is required. Attendance at one of our training sessions is mandatory. Upcoming trainings: November 17th and 18th from 6-9pm in Holyoke. December 1st and 2nd from 6-9pm in Boston. December 1st and 2nd from 6-9pm in Worcester. December 2nd and 3rd from 6-9pm in Lawrence and December 8th and 9th from 6-9pm in New Bedford. Sign up today!
