The Pediatric Palliative Care Network, a program administered by Hospice of Boston and Greater Brockton, helps children with life-limiting illnesses and their families gain a sense of control in their lives. The services we provide strengthen the family by lessening the trouble and worry that family members often feel. One of the services we provide is volunteer support for the patient, parents and siblings. The volunteer may provide one-one contact with the patient or his/her sisters and brothers by helping with school work, arts and crafts, respite care, etc. Completion of hospice training program and additional two hours of training for the pediatric palliative volunteer.
