Womansplace Crisis Center is a comprehensive, non-profit program providing services to survivors of sexual and domestic violence. We are currently seeking volunteers for all aspects of our program. Volunteer Opportunities Include: Answering the crisis hotline Assisting women and children in our shelter Provide court advocacy and medical advocacy Provide child care Assist with fundraising and special events Educational outreach and community prevention
There is a FREE forty hour mandatory training for all staff and volunteers. Volunteers are asked to make a one year commitment of approximately 3 hours per week. This opportunity is sponsored by: Womansplace Crisis Center
