Mission Statement: Quad A for Kids will promote the personal and social development of our City of Rochester youth by creating, continuously improving and supporting youth-centered out-of-school time programs that produce measureable results; creating a culture whereby our youth value education and see a path forward to a successful future; building a network of community partners to support the advancement of youth development through academics, the arts, and athletics.

Description:
Quad A focuses on economically challenged neighborhoods in the City of Rochester where children are at greatest risk. We replace idle time with activities that develop critical life skills.
Quad A provides nearly 30 after-school and 10 community-wide programs for kids ages 5 - 15 years old. Quad A's volunteer base of dedicated professionals research and deliver the most effective after-school children's programs. We take focused action - our after-school programs run 3 hours, 5 days per week. Students who participate in our programs must show consistent attendance at school and in academic performance.

History:
In 1994, Rochester philanthropist Joe U. Posner had a vision: an organization dedicated to improving the life prospects of disadvantaged youth in Rochester. Over the years, we have become an effective, results-oriented program uniquely capable of making a difference in the lives of urban children.
