Volunteer Opportunity Details:

As a Two Doors Homework Volunteer, you will work with elementary children from the Greece Central School District on their homework assignments and reading requirements. The children that come to the Two Doors program are in grades 2-5. Volunteers also interact with the children during snack, play games with them, assist in the computer lab, and help with craft projects. Opportunities open Monday - Friday from 3:00-6:00pm.

Requirements include patience, understanding, support, and a positive attitude. We hold educational information sessions twice during the school year. We are always looking for volunteers who enjoy working with children and have experience in diverse fields.

Take 490 west to 390 North. Exit at Vintage Lane. Take a right. Continue on Vintage as it becomes Dorsey. Follow Dorsey to Dewey. Make a right on Dewey Avenue. Stay in the left lane. Enter the Bethany Presbyterian Church parking lot just pst the Barnard Fire Department. Turn right in the parking lot. Park near the white garage and house. This is Two Doors. We enter by the back stairs next to the garage.   Nearest Bus Stop: 1 block, 3 or less minute walk
