Volunteers of America to Hold Charity Fashion Show – Models Needed


Rochester, NY (February 9, 2007) Volunteers of America is seeking models to participate in a Charity Fashion Show that will be held on Friday, March9. The agency is asking interested women, men, and teens (of all clothing sizes) to submit their photos and resumes to Cathy Yeomans, Retail Manager, at cyeomans@voawny.org, by February 28, 2007.  

 The Charity Fashion Show will highlight the variety and quality of clothing that is available at Volunteers of America’s 10 stores by showcasing some of the fashions and accessories available there. Attendees will also learn more about VOA’s human services programs supported by the sale of items donated to the agency.

 Volunteers of America’s ministry of service helps 10,000 individuals in Monroe and surrounding counties each year through services that include homelessness prevention programs, child-care for low-income families, emergency food, housing for the homeless, and re-entry programs for ex-offenders. Our work touches the mind, body, heart—and ultimately the spirit—of those we serve, integrating our deep compassion with highly effective programs and services.
