Each exhibition features expressive portraits of children waiting for adoption in the foster care system, raising awareness of the need for adoptive homes and introducing the children as unique individuals. Heart Gallerys nationwide have featured the work of top photographers and attracted widespread public and media attention. There are nearly 50 Western NY children whose caseworkers have requested their portrait be included in our 2007 Gallery.  We are hopeful you will join us in this very special project by volunteering to photograph one or two children or sibling groups.

We'll work with you and the child's agency to determine dates and locations for the shoot. Our goal is to present children in a natural setting, doing something they enjoy (with animals, pets, playing sports or other favorite activity.
