STEP Right Up!

STEP Science Bowl 2008 – Feb 9th - 24 teams of high school students will gather at Monroe Community College’s Damon City Campus (Sibley Building, 5th floor, 8:00am – 3:30pm) to participate in the STEP Science Bowl 2008, a regional event for the Department of Energy’s National Science Bowl. Teams of 5 students participate in a fast- paced, jeopardy-style verbal competition where they will answer questions in all branches of science and math ...
We are looking for volunteers for the following areas throughout the day: Moderators, Scorekeepers Rules Judges, Timekeepers, and Room Monitors. Registration, Photographers, Set Up and Clean Up Crew and Buzz Master. To volunteer or for more information contact Donna Augustine 262-1673 or send an email to daugustine@monroecc.edu. A training session can be arranged for you (or your group!) or there will be one provided at 8:00am on February 9th. |
