Irondequoit Bay International Coastal Cleanup Day
You live on one of the most important watersheds in the world! Did you ever bother to think,“Maybe we should keep it clean?” Please help clean up our most precious resource!
When? Saturday, September 20, 2008, 9 a.m.-1 p.m., free lunch following cleanup
Who? People who are interested in helping the environment are invited help clean up Irondequoit Bay’s shoreline of litter.
Where? Meet at Orchard Park Blvd. boat launch at Bay Park West (near Sutter’s Marina ).
Directions: Coming from 590 North, exit at Empire Blvd., turn right onto Empire Blvd. (If coming from 590 south, turn left onto Empire Blvd.), cross over Winton Rd. and turn left onto Orchard Park Blvd., immediately bear right and go down the hill to the bay.
What should you bring? All volunteers should bring bottled water, work gloves, boots, hat, long sleeves and pants.
