Help Low Income Working Households
RSS XML FeedBackground Active Dec 1, 2003 to Dec 31, 2003

Last year CASH volunteers helped 2,500 Monroe County households receive an average of $2,000.00 in tax refunds by helping them claim the Earned Income Credit.  By assisting them in their tax preparation as a CASH volunteer, you can help CASH clients journey out of poverty to live more comfortable lives.  Volunteers are needed as tax preparers, greeters, resource advisors, translators and outreach workers.

Volunteers are asked to offer approximately four hours/week from late January through April 15th, 2004. Training will take place in mid-January.
