The mission of this corporation is to provide relief to the poor, the distressed and under privileged, to help and nurture those in need,to feed the hungry, to bring hope to the hopeless and make a difference one life at a time.

Description:
Our activities include serving a healthy and nutritious lunch every Saturday and monthly hot and delicious dinners at our local homeless shelter. We also provide transportation, food, furniture, clothes, gift cards, and school supplies to residents and families. SOF also helps residents that are homeless transition to independance where we can help with budgeting, food, mentoring and much more.
For our local childrens home, our 7th annual Thanksgiving Feast dinner which includes a 3-course meal and also including games and prizes is always a blessing to the children and staff as it reminds the children they are NOT forgotten. Also our 6th annual day-long “Summer Fest” for the children is always such a special treat!
In addition to tangibles, our volunteers have also built relationships with the residents. By listening to their situations and concerns, we are able to help connect them with much needed resources that would help get what they need, and ultimately prosper and become independent.

History:
The ministry started nine years by a group of people that decided to do something to help the poor. It has grown and has not stopped finding new ways in helping the down and out. It was two years ago we became incorporated and our own entity. We began by reaching out to our local homeless shelter and feeding the residents a monthly dinner. We then branched out to our local children's home to help with building repairs and donating towels and blankets. We also began to go to the elderly homes and minister through food and music. The growing needs of the community has prompted Seeds of Faith to expand our outreach activities as weekly we make and serve delicious lunches. We also find ourselves not only helping to feed those that are hungary, and clothing those that need it, but we are also helping with the life skills that people need and counsel and mentorship to help rebuild what homelessness robs them of.
