The purpose of Main Street Art is to provide a place of education where children, teens, adults and seniors can come together to experience, appreciate and participate in the arts where creative efforts are shared and made accessible to everyone.

Main Street Art offers a wide variety of classes taught by local amateur and professional artists as well as arranging for visiting artists to teach special workshops. Please see our website www. newfieldsart.org for more information. Main Street Art coordinates art openings and performances for the community to enjoy and participate in. Classes and workshops are affordable and through our ongoing fundraising efforts scholarships will be made available.
History:
Main Street Art was formed in 2009 by a group of like minded community members in the town of Newfields, New Hamphire. Main Street Art began teaching classes at Moon Shine Gallery in Newmarket, NH in September 2009. The long term goal includes securing a lease and renovating a town owned building in the center of the village of Newfields to house this community art center.
