History:
The Children's Museum of Portsmouth was founded in 1983 and was located in historic South end of Portsmouth. The museum had been serving the needs of children and families for almost twenty four years. In 2008 The Children's Museum of Portsmouth will transform into The Children's Museum of New Hampshire in Dover. The museum will be triple the space and more art and science activities will be happening and relies heavily on its volunteers!
