ServiceLink of Strafford County (Strafford Network/Service Link)

Our mission is to empower seniors, adults with disabilities and their families. Our vision is to have them live fully, be knowledgeable about wellness opportunities, and be able to manage their personal resources, and ultimately support their independence.

Description:
ServiceLink provides community connections for seniors, adults with disabilities and their families. Are you unsure where to find services for yourself or someone you care about? Do you know someone whose needs are not being met? One call is all it takes for consumers to begin asking their questions and exploring their options. ServiceLink also can help with taking the next step. Our staff and volunteers are glad to assist consumers with accessing services by helping with applications or attending interviews for services with them, for example. Whatever assistance is needed to see that the connection is made for the need to be met is our goal.

History:
ServiceLink is a statewide network of 13 sites, in partnership with the NH Division of Elderly & Adult Services. ServiceLink was established as a community-based resource for seniors and adults with disabilities. We opened our doors in October of 2000.
In the fall of 2000, Strafford Network received a grant to create ServiceLink of Strafford County. The Strafford Network is a coalition of not-for-profit providers serving Strafford County, New Hampshire residents. Strafford Network has been active since the early 1990's. Its goal is to continue the provision of efficient, accessible, and high quality human services in the midst of a changing environment. ServiceLink is one avenue to help complete these goals.
