Seacoast Repertory Theatre

The Rep is dedicated to the presentation of professional theatre productions and to the education of the region's young people. Serving multigenerational audiences, we provide a safe harbor for singers, writers, composers directors designers and aspiring artists of all ages and disciplines. Students and professionals, young and old, interact in a supportive creative environment, resulting in heightened understanding and deepened mutual respect.

Description:
The Rep is an art and educational organization committed to the perpetuation of professional theatre productions and educational theatre programs in the greater seacoast area. In addition to a subscription season of seven mainstage productions, a Youth Theatre season of six productions and a summer stock season of three productions. SRT makes itself and its facilities available for the support of not-for-profit organizations in the community.
Students from 5-95 are provided the opportunity to have an on stage experience in the youth theatre series and senior moments. Our Senior citizens previews serves all the senior citizens of the region who are invited guests to these special performances.
Schools, churches and other not-for-profit organizations are offered discounted or complementary tickets for their own fundraising purposes. The performers and SRT staff make themselves available for outreach programs to benefit and serve the larger community.
Within a 12 month period The Rep serves over 200 students, 90 campers, 9,600 young people and their families as audience to our youth theatre productions and in excess of 50,000 audience members for our mainstage presentations.

History:
The Seacoast Repertory Theatre was founded in 1986 as a performing arts and eductional center for our immediate community and beyond and incorporated as a not-for-profit 501(c)(3)in 1987. Co-founders are Roy and Eileen Rogosin.
