RSVP mobilizes people aged 55+ to deliver creative solutions to community needs through volunteerism. Part of a network of national service programs, RSVP supports more than 600 individuals in Rockingham County as they put their skills to practice volunteering in communities throughout our area.
Description:
RSVP provides critical linkages between the skills of those 55+ and the community need. RSVP partners with local agencies and municipalities by developing volunteer sites, recruiting, placing, training, documenting, supporting, and recognizing volunteers. They make a difference in their communities through their volunteer service, and enrich their own lives as well.
