Malley Farm Boys Home (Somersworth Group Home)
To restore safety, hope, trust and self-worth in the lives of boys in need and to provide them with the support and opportunites to realize their fullest potential as individuals and contributing members of society.
Description:
The Home is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization licensed by the NH Bureau of Child Care Standards and Licenses. We own two houses in which to provide Emergency and Long-Term Residential Care Programs for boys ages 12 to 18 from the greater seacoast area and around the state. The Long-Term Program provides a stable, trusting home enviornment that encourages communication and individual development. Our distinct independent living program guides teens to adulthood and prepares them to provide for themselves. We can house 12 - 14 boys in this facility at once. The Emergency Services Program has provided an immediate safe and caring home for boys since 1985. Our hope is this service will aid struggling families in their efforts to understand and overcome crisis.
History:
Since 1979, the home has provided hope to boys 12 to 18 years of ages from the greater seacoast area and around the State through our Emergency and Long-Term Residential Care Programs.
