The Adult Tutorial Program of Strafford County matches volunteer tutors with undereducated adults who have requested help in basic reading, basic math, GED preparation, or English for speakers of other languages. One-on-one tutoring is free, confidential, and student-centered, with location and time of tutoring sessions arranged at the convenience of both the student and tutor. The Tutorial Coordinator provides guidance and materials.

Description:
It is the mission of the Adult Tutorial Program of Strafford County to empower adults to become life-long learners; to support individuals in achieving their potential academic goals; to encourage and strengthen family literacy; and to enhance the positive self-image of each student.
