The mission of Northeast Passage is to create an environment where individuals with disabilities can recreate with the same freedom of choice, quality of life and independence as their non-disabled peers. We do this by developing, delivering and evaluating innovative barrier free recreation and health promotion programs. .

History:
Northeast Passage was founded in 1990 as a Chapter of Disabled Sports USA. After years of successful collaboration , Northeast Passage Merged with the University of New Hampshire in March of 2000. In year one we served 34 individuals with disabilities. In 2002 we served over 2100 in direct service and over 8000 through information services. For more info refer to www.nepassage.org.
