We recently had a consultant present gift solicitation information and techniques to the board, many who are newer members. All of this is done under the direction of an experienced (20 years) development director.

Position title: Board Position
Description: CVHS is looking for board members who can provide contacts and influence in the community and who bring various business skills to the shelter. These may include finance, legal, public relations, marketing, communications, computers, etc. Since CVHS is building the skills on its current board, we are open to speaking with any community member who feels they may be able to help us grow and move the shelter to the next level.
Day, time, place of board meetings:: 4th Tuesday, 6:30 pm - 8 pm. Board is currently considering a change to an earlier time.
