Make a Blanket for a Child in Crisis.

Volunteer Opportunity Details:

Last updated on August 23, 2009

Please help comfort NH children in crisis. We are looking for individuals, civic organizations, schools, youth groups, etc., who want to make comfort blankets for children in need. We are happy to provide instructions to those who want to make no sew fleece blankets. These are so easy!! Please consider lending a hand...the children need you! This is a wonderful opportunity to teach children to pay it forward. We do have some supplies that have been donated, which we are able to provide to you---the children just need your time and effort! Just think---your family or group can help NH children without dipping into your tight budget---let us provide the supplies, while you provide your heart and hands to this wonderful effort.

Our mission is pure and simple: to provide love, security and comfort to children by giving them new, handmade blankets lovingly created by volunteers.

Volunteers must be able to make a blanket. If you do not knit, crochet or sew, perhaps you are able to make some no sew fleece blankets. We will provide you with the directions.
