Volunteer Opportunity Details:

Portsmouth became a First Night® community in 1986 - and is one of two remaining towns in New Hampshire that celebrates First Night® with music, dance, fireworks and ice sculpture. Entertainment begins in venues throughout the city at 3:00pm, followed by fireworks at 7:30pm and a countdown to midnight in Market Square.

Volunteers are needed to make the event a success so come and be a part of First Night Portsmouth 2010!

Volunteer opportunities run the spectrum and are typically 3-4 hours in length. Sign up to sell First Night Buttons, be an usher, a stage or house manager. Or assist with the logistics for the event, decorations or checking in other volunteers.

Most Volunteer positions require being on your feet for a shift and some positions require lifting.
