We have intellectually challenging projects with a wide variety of interesting nonprofits. Join one of our teams and put your management or professional skills to work on a high impact project. Learn from your fellow consultants, our training, and your experiences helping clients. Get involved in the fascinating challenges of running a nonprofit in a difficult business climate. Our volunteers have done strategic plans, facilitated board retreats, done governance work, feasibility studies, created marketing plans, volunteer recruiting plans, fundraising plans, and business plans. Volunteers should have senior level management or professional experience. We need volunteers with general management backgrounds and specialists in areas such as H/R, P/R, Marketing, Finance, and Fundraising. Those with nonprofit backgrounds as a director or board member are especially needed. Volunteers should have a flexible schedule with 12 hours a month to give. Many of our volunteers are retired. The most enjoyable aspect of ESC consulting engagements for me has been the intellectual stimulation associated with applying management practices to the nonprofit area, and the people I have worked with.
