Annual MLK Jr. Day Rally and March for Justice
Monday, January 19 at Portsmouth Middle School on Parrot Avenue
Celebration begins at 10:30
Join in to honor Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. by attending the 8th annual Celebration & March for Justice.
All ages are welcome to attend!
The event kicks off at 10:30 with a brief rally at Portsmouth Middle School on Parrot Ave, followed by a short march through town. The march ends at the Middle School with a complimentary lunch, and family friendly activities. Before and after the march, you're invited to visit the Volunteer Fair! Find out about local nonprofit organizations and ways to get involved.
This event is being sponsored by City Year NH with help from the United Way of the Greater Seacoast and other community based organizations.
Schedule of Events:
10:30 - Rally, Speakers, Music
11:30 - March through Market Square and return to the Middle School
12:00 - Complimentary lunch and Volunteer Fair for all participant
12:30-2:00 - Service projects for all ages. Families welcome! |
