| The Corporate Volunteer Council of the Greater Seacoast (CVCGS) will host a breakfast forum to introduce itself to the business community and launch a membership drive. The CVCGS is an organization of business professionals committed to the notion of creating, promoting and enhancing corporate volunteer programs within their organizations. The Council promotes the ethic of corporate volunteerism and seeks to inspire and educate other business professionals to develop, implement and improve their own programs.
The kick off forum, "Workplace Volunteerism - Meeting Today's Challenges", will feature guest speaker Charlotte Coker-Gibson, Vice President, Corporate Volunteer Development, for the Points of Light Foundation in Washington, DC.
Registration and breakfast for the April 23 event will be held from 7:30-8:00 and the program will run from 8:00-10:00. The forum will be hosted by Liberty Mutual Insurance, Co. at their Borthwick Avenue, Portsmouth location.
