1. Use a key word - like "environment", "children", "elderly", "computer", "arts", "hunger", etc.
2. Use a key word combined with your zip code, and the number of miles you're willing to travel.
3. To find a group opportunity, use the full search and select the size of your group.
4. Can't find a group opportunity? Click Here to submit an application and we'll personally help you find one.
5. Use the full search for other ideas, including finding family or teen opportunities.
6. Check out the calendar for one-time opportunities on specific dates.
7. Register and create "profiles" to receive email updates. You might only want to choose only one group, interest or skill per profile. Example: Call a profile "children" and answer #2 (social group- choose age of children), #5 (when you want to volunteer) and #6 (working in a group or individually).

See lots of potential opportunities, bu not quite ready to choose? Select the "Add to Favorites" option on the specific opportunity description. Your list will appear on the bottom right hand side of the search engine's home ("Welcome") page.
Click "I'm interested in this opportunity" to contact agencies directly through the system with a pre-written message. Include your phone # if you'd like a call from them.
The newest listings are always posted on the right side of the search ("Welcome") page.
You can email a friend to share your selections.
When viewing an opportunity, click "View Detailed Information" to find out even more.
Click the name of the agency to read about their mission and history.
When looking at the Agency description, you can click "View All Opportunities" to see a full list of the agency's volunteer options.
