One day of service can improve lives right here in our communities! Join United Way staff and volunteers as we prepare for the 14th Annual Day of Caring, September 14, 2005. This internship begins May/June and runs through the day of the event.

On the Day of Caring, United Way mobilizes over 1,500 volunteers to serve at over 80  nonprofit organizations throughout Rockingham and Stafford Counties, NH and Kittery/Eliot, ME. 

Gain skills, enhance skills and build your resume in the areas of

  • Marketing and Communications
  • Event and Project Management
  • Customer Service
  • Volunteer Management
    This is a wonderful Intern or volunteer opportunity to take on projects, interact with both the nonprofit and business communities, and really see the fruits of your service.

    The position requires a minimum of 8-10 hours per week, here at United Way, located on Pease Tradeport in Portsmouth. We are close to the bus stop.
