Our mission is to provide therapeutic programs for persons with special needs and behavioral challenges through equine facilitated learning.
Description:
The horse is the facilitator. BUT, volunteers are the center of the program. All the special need students need the help the volunteers can provide. Students ride the horse with the assistance of volunteers. The students are getting physical and occupational therapy while riding. If you have the heart and soul to help children laugh, smile and enjoy life for just a little while, this is for you. If you love horses, this is for you. Come and see the miracles
History:
We are in our 5th year. There are 12 students that come one hour a week. Classes are Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday nights at 6 and 7:30. We are small, but everyone enjoys themselves.
