Our mission is to provide Christmas gifts and meals to families and elderly citizens in need of assistance by matching them with people interested in fulfilling the role of Santa Claus.

Overall Experience 
A heart warming experience being able to assist others get help during the Holiday Season .

I worked at the Christmas Bureau
for the first time in 2007.
I loved the experience.
Barb , the wonderful Lady , with
the ready smile , who runs the
program made sure everyone was
trained very well in the basic
operation of a computer . Even
including some who had never before
touched a computer before doing
this .
I am in a wheel chair more than
half the time , and in or out
of the chair , doing this job
was a breeze to do .
It really is heart warming being
able to give something back to
the people here in Topeka having
been a recipient a few times my
ownself of help from the Christmas
Bureau .
So this experience was
all the more special .
Being able to assist familes and
singles too with some of their
basic special holiday needs is a
wonderful experience .
And the Christmas Bureau helps
everyone !!! They do not care
if you are a married couple with
kids or without kids . The program
doesn't care if you are a single
parent , or a senior couple or
a senior individual . Everybody
is going to get assistance from
this program .
So just think about how nice it
can be , when you are a part
of a great group like this who
helps everybody .Not just a
person here or there , or maybe
someone of a certain marital
status , or race , or age or
with or without a disability .
Nope , the Christmas Bureau
wants to help everybody.
So I hope to see you in
November / December of
2008 .
