Food Share America invites anyone from any background to participate in a monthly discount food distribution network. FSA offers discount quality food for the greater purpose of developing community relationships and breaking down barriers that keep us apart. FSA helps us all realize how much we have in common and how much we have to learn and enjoy one another, while saving money on food for our families.

Description:
Good food, such as frozen meats, fresh fruits and vegetables, convenience foods and pantry items are offered in as much as a 50% discount to anyone. There are no income requirements or qualifications and no membership fees to participate. Orders are taken at the beginning of the month and delivery is made at the end of the month with the help of area churches, agencies and hundreds of volunteers. This is how FSA can offer discount food, buy eliminating the excess cost in distribution and the buying power of network buying.

History:
Harvest Sharing, Inc was created in June 2000. The organization has been fulfilling the mission in the southern portion of Colorado. Recently, Harvest Sharing, Inc. acquired Share Colorado and is now serving 11 states including Kansas.
